As we come to the end of 2020 it’s only natural to reflect on the year. I think we have all faced some huge trials and tribulations – the world has changed as we know it! However, despite a certain global pandemic, Brexit, wildfires and Megxit - The Scenic Supper was born...



In the midst of a pandemic which directly affected all our businesses, Toby, myself (Sam) and Scott embarked on a brand new and very exciting venture.



Six months on from our opening night on 4th July 2020 - we've served over 680 diners, mixed more than a thousand cocktails and have been open for 40 nights of experiences - all while working hard to ensure our COVID safe environment doesn't really feel like one!



And now we are working on our biggest challenge yet... 2021!



Next year, The Scenic Supper is putting down roots at Todenham Manor Farm for six months from April – September. Our new site includes seven brand new, handcrafted and sustainably built glasshouses (built by us and our lovely local friends!) made using reinforced glass and timber cladding finished using the Shou Sugi Ban method. The ancient Japanese art chars the timber to provide beautiful and long-lasting looks without the use of paint or chemicals and helps blend these sustainable structures seamlessly into the landscape (more to come on this in the January Newsletter).



Sourcing seasonal, sustainable and locally grown produce is at the heart of what we believe - so, being located at Todenham Manor Farm is really helping us to live our ‘Farm to Fork’ dream. The Spring menu is a perfect example of everything we hold close to our hearts.



You can expect to find dishes such as...


*Chargrilled Vale of Evesham Asparagus & Hollandaise Sauce

*Local Rabbit, Glazed Spring Vegetables & Black Pudding

*Watercress, Nettle & Sorrel Soup

*Cotswold Lamb Neck, Smoked Mashed Potato & Wild Garlic Salsa Verde

*Purple Sprouting, Wild Garlic & White Bean Hummus on Cotswold Sourdough Toast

*Roast New Potatoes, Glazed Pear, Blue Monday Cheese & Walnut Salad


and many more mouthwatering delights on our monthly signature five-course menus.


(Psssst. This time there will be an optional cheeseboard with a seductive selection of local cheese, biscuits and homemade chutneys)



The Scenic Supper is an collaboration of many moving parts - the view, the glasshouses, the food - oh and the bar!

Speaking of the bar- my seasonal cocktail menu inspired by our award-winning King Stone Gin – will start next year with a Spring-focused selection of my homemade syrups and bitters used to craft all of our cocktails. I've been working on new creations like a Rhubarb & Ginger Gin Shrub, and modernising classics to present you with the likes of a Gin Grapefruit Sour and Gin Gimlet.

The wine list, while short, is carefully curated to showcase the best of what I have tasted, including a top-notch English Sparkling.
