The Nitty Gritty

Job Title:                      Commis Chef/Kitchen Porter

Working Days:              4 nights a week-Wednesday to Saturday

Hours:                          30 hours per week

Shift pattern:                 2pm till 9pm

Contract:                       6 month contract – April till End of September 2021

Pay:                             £10 per hour + tips

Location:                       Todenham Manor Farm

 

About Us

 

Toby, Sam and Scott have known each other for 20 years – it wasn’t until COVID affected our small businesses that we sat down and started working on our dream…To open a new intimate fine-dining experience in the Cotswolds!

We started last year with 7 glasshouses at a beautiful hill top location over the summer of 2020 – it was such a great success that we are relocating to Todenham Manor Farm for our spring/summer/autumn season in 2021.

 

From April to September up to 28 guests (or 7 groups of 4 in glasshouses) per evening will be able to enjoy a 5-course tasting menu with seasonal cocktails and premium wines. All of our menus will be written by you and change monthly - using the best of local, seasonal and finest quality produce found in the Cotswolds.

 

About You

 

  • Passionate

  • Experience in kitchen highly valued

  • Is a strong team player

  • Willing to learn

  • Excited to work beside an award winning, Micheline Star trained chef

  • Not turned off at the thought of washing up

  • Most of all, you’ll LOVE to be challenged

 

About the Role

 

  • Assist with plating dishes

  • Work to the highest standards

  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness

  • Basic food prep

  • Maintaining Kitchen organisation

  • Dealing with deliveries and stock rotation
