Position - Head Chef

The Nitty Gritty

Job Title:                      Head Chef

Working Days:              4 nights a week-Wednesday to Saturday

Hours:                          36 per week

Shift pattern:                 12pm till 9pm

Contract:                       6 month contract – End of March till End of September 2021

Pay:                             £14 per hour + tips

Location:                       Todenham Manor Farm

 

About Us

 

We (Toby, Sam and Scott) have known each other for 20 years – it wasn’t until COVID affected our small businesses that we sat down and started working on our dream…To open a new intimate dining experience in the Cotswolds!

We started last year with 7 glasshouses at a beautiful hill top location over the summer of 2020 – it was such a great success that we are relocating to Todenham Manor Farm for our spring/summer/autumn season in 2021.

 

From April to September up to 28 guests (or 7 groups of 4 in glasshouses) per evening will be able to enjoy a 5-course tasting menu with seasonal cocktails and premium wines. All of our menus will be written by you and change monthly - using the best of local, seasonal and finest quality produce found in the Cotswolds.

 

About You

 

  • Passionate

  • Fine dining background (preferred but not necessary)

  • Is a strong team player

  • Excited for the chance to help develop and shape our business

  • Has experience developing menus

  • Will co-create our monthly changing 5-course menu

  • Will prioritise sharing skills with an apprentice

  • Has an understanding of ordering

  • Understands back of house compliance

  • Most of all, you’ll LOVE to be challenged
